Name: Bell Street Trombone Quartet Concert
    Date: February 8, 2016
    Time: 7:30 PM - 7:30 PM CST
    Event Description:
The Bell Street Four Trombone Quartet is an instrumental ensemble made up of educators from different universities and studios.

Formed in 2007 at the University of North Texas, the Bell Street Four Trombone Quartet is made of UNT graduates and takes its name from the ensemble’s first rehearsal location—a house on Bell Street in Denton, Texas. Since its formation, the quartet has performed at several festivals, including the TCU Trombone Summit, the Big XII Trombone Conference, the Texas Music Educator’s Association and the International Trombone Festival, where the ensemble won the 2008 Trombone Quartet Competition.

The group performs music from all genres, but has a passion for new works. Members are:
    •       Dr. William Haugeberg, adjunct instructor of low-brass at Tarleton
    •       Justin Cook, visiting assistant professor of trombone at the University of Central Arkansas
    •       Dr. Jason Hausback, assistant professor of trombone at Missouri State University
    •       Mark Scott, an original member of the quartet, who conducts the Flower Mound Philharmonic and teaches trombone at a North Texas studio.
